Great workout. Not a good hike for kids or anyone that is squeamish with heights as there are a lot of sections that are on the ridge or that require climbing the last 2/10 of the ascent. Loose dirt and rocks on the way down. Views from the top are great. When you get to the rock face go straight up instead of around to the left. I will definitely be back to do this again.

I wouldn’t quite call this a moderate hike. It is all incline from the start. You’re going to be climbing towards to the top but the views are amazing once you get there. There is no shade so bring tons of water. There is loose gravel/dirt! be careful on the way down. I do not recommend this hike for beginners. With that being said; I loved this trail. Great workout that keeps your heart rate up. I will definitely be doing this one again.

Trail is fine till you hit first major peak and it turns rock climbing or a terrifying side trail around the rocks that gets overgrown, you can tell where everyone turns around. Might feel safer with poles and a hiking buddy.

We followed the instructions here, but were only able to make it about half way to the summit (still a very challenging climb). Maybe the trail was washed out or too overgrown after the fires... we couldn’t find it. The views were stunning!

Well, I did this hike today and I guess it would be less intimidating if there was some foliage on the cliffs. These mountains were completely burned out and there is no much left. Definitely not for kids, for people not sure about their abilities or hikers holding a water bottle on their hand.

Beautiful views. Decent incline. Just not a lot of room for error. Kind of a skinny trail with very steep sides

Really beautiful views since the Woolsey fire tore through here. We didn’t go up the whole way because we had our dogs (big and small) and we wanted to mind their limits. Steady uphill climb that gets your heart rate up and the sweat going. Lovely yellow and orange flower patches on the mountain sides (though since we were too far the yellow might have been moss of some sort). Windy on the ridge; somewhat slippery on loose gravel and stone. New life sprouting everywhere, red leaves, green tufts of grass, and lots of bright green weeds; burned spindly tree remains. Great for a nature fix!

Done this trail 5 times, summitted three times. It is a fun one! Very steep at 1000 gain per mile, but the views of Agoura are great! Some good rock climbing, but there is a trail that goes around the major climb, if you’re scared. Although this is an out and back trail, you can keep exploring the trail further down to Agoura road. I wouldn’t recommend it, because it is overgrown and steep.

Great little 1.7 mike out and back with some fun rock climbing at the end. Reminds me of wattles garden x2. Outstanding views of the surrounding towns, nice paths. Wear good shoes as there is loose gravel. My one knock is road noise for most of the first half but you can block it out with all the nice views
