trail was fine. lots of traffic and the parking lot was atrocious. once you got on the trail it was fine though. self guided tour was pretty cool also. this is a super easy introductory hike. take your friends who don't hike kind of hike.

Short and to the point, this trail was an easy one and if you take the effort to drive up to the grove, you may as well walk the whole loop. Tons of beautiful trees and not a lot of people, as we went later in the afternoon when visitors were few and the light was perfect. Would highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

Quick and easy, but good way to get a look at a bunch of redwoods. Weather was pleasant, trail was shady. Parking wasn’t ideal, lot was pretty consistently full but we just created our own spot.

Hiked in the late afternoon. Lighting amongst the towering redwoods was spectacular. Very few people there at that time.

Number one favorite trail to take non hikers so they can still get a sense of walking through the majestic giant Redwoods. Beautifully maintained. Crowded in summer. Pit toilets at parking.

It is an easy walk for all abilities. The trees were not as big as we expected as this is not one of those forests. It was not crowded as we only saw two other people when we hiked it, on a Friday afternoon. We hiked the Boy Scout Tree Trail the next day. That trail is much more impressive!

Beautiful little hike and a good taste of Redwood National Parks. But there are much better trails to see!

Great walk through a magical place. Walked with 3 little ones who loved the informative brochure that you can borrow at the beginning of the hike.

Walked this in Feb. 2017. Lots of big trees and ferns. Nothing bad to say. This is a walk most people can do.

Walked it today in the rain with 4 little kids. It was so peaceful and the kids had a blast going inside of trees!

Visited in September of 2015. Beautiful for a nice easy stroll through these amazing trees. Perfect for all ages and skill levels. I’d definitely recommend grabbing one of the info brochures to read about the history and interesting facts. Overall, an easy way to experience the redwoods and honor one of the great women in our country’s history!

Easy stroll through tons of redwoods. Grab the trail map for a self guided tour and info on the history. Best time to go is February, no crowds.

Thank you Lady Bird. The trees remind me of old battle scarred warriors. My wife Donna and I hiked this.

Absolutely stunning. The fog and the most made the ferns and undergrowth vibrant colors and everything else looked black and white. The trees were impressive and pamphlets helpful.

Always love a loop! Bathrooms by the parking lot were super clean. It was a very accessible hike if you wanted to bring an elder. Interpretive signage was interesting and we even came across a roving ranger who answered our questions about some plants. Only a quick jaunt from the 101 freeway, yet when you get on the trail all the highway sounds are gone. Beautiful old trees, very well-maintained trail.

Really simple hike. 5 year old and 2 year old able to walk in its entirety- really beautiful views and good "first" glimpse of the redwoods.

Lovely loop, off the highway so the car noise is gone. Super mellow and good for slow strolling and admiring the flora. :)
