Did this hike on a Sunday morning, it's a short hike but it's very steep. Incline made my calves burrrnn but it was a good hike! Get there early, parking could be difficult.

Wasn’t expecting it to be so steep. Great workout though!

Short hike but you’re going uphill for 95% of the hike. Be careful as it can be slippery!

Great little workout! Pretty steep, with some slippery parts, but worth it. My pup loved it, saw quite a few other dogs on the trail too.

Quick hike with a steep elevation gain. Good trail for training.

Short but very very steep. Pretty difficult climb but it's over quickly and is a really good workout in a short distance. Much less crowded trail in Mission Trails Park than Cowles Mt so it's nice for some solitude.

Short and steep but a good workout (for a beginner).

I took this trail but I started at the little parking lot to the east. A nice little trail, and a good challenge. Nice boulders at the peak to sit on whilst snacking on a banana.

Pretty easy in and out trail. Free parking. Views were good. Lots of erosion and climbing around bushes that seemed to be half-tree half-undergrowth. Wasn’t too hot, but has some good incline with slippery dust that can be challenging (especially when coming down).

Short hike that really works up a sweat. The view from the top is great and it wasn't very busy (on a Saturday!) which is a huge plus! My pup loved it!

Always a favorite hike to do when I need/want a hard workout and don’t have enough time for something longer. On a clear day you can see the hills of Tijuana and as far north as La Jiolla. Can’t leave out the incredible ocean views either!

Nice, short but steep climb. not exactly the best for trail running, very uneven and loose rock, but fun! great views.

great view, pretty steep incline the whole time, but the damn is right across the street, can chill and picnic there afterwards

Hiked to the summit on Saturday, Oct. 7. Great hike, I agree with All Trails rating of "Moderate," although the Mission Trails system rates it "Difficult." It was not too difficult. Your heart will be pumping, no doubt, but a well-maintained trail. The summit sign was missing. :/

Wow, steep and at some points really slippery heading down. The view at the top was fantastic though!
