I’m the leader of “Mountain Warriors”, we adopted this trail three years ago. We just did a clearing trip last weekend, it’s now passable to Spring Creek with only light contact with brush. No pushing through brush right now. We also cleared six trees out of the trail. You can find pictures and more details on our Facebook page. We hope to start clearing beyond Spring Creek in an upcoming trip.

Decent easy, hike with our 5 year old. Plenty of beautiful wildflowers. Tons of butterflies everywhere. I was surprised that the trail wasn’t right at the riverbank but it was a beautiful view. Not very busy. Very slow go even with no traffic. Last 7-9 miles on a one lane road with turn outs.

Be ready and plan ahead for the drive. The last 7 miles is a dirt road that takes a fat minute so bring a car with good ground clearance. The trail is super pretty and easy. 10/10 recommend during flower bloom. No ones on the trail super peaceful.

Very good spring time hike. The wild flowers are really blooming this year. The trail is mostly flat and there was one creek crossing.
