Really good trail, the right turn at the mid point (assuming river first) wasnt where the gps trail indicates- I cut cross country til hit the trail heading up the valley. I think the junction is to the NW of where the line indicates. Very quiet once off the river, good going throughout, coming down the last few miles on the road (Sherman Pass) was fast and opened up great views into Kern Valley. Awesome route however as the circle means you are always in new territory and feel you’ve covered a large area. My garmin watch recorded 10.6miles.
