The point on the map takes you to johnstone trail and jepperson trails and there is no cell service. Bring a map. Kehoe beach is actually about a 13 minute drive from here.

Kehoe Beach Trail is an easy hike. One of the few trails north of Inverness in the Point Reyes National Seashore approved for biking, this trail descends gradually from the road to the ocean. There is a small fresh water lagoon to the south as you near a single bluff right before reaching the ocean. What makes this beach special are the grassy sand dunes between the beach and the small cliffs. Each sandy indentation offers a sense of solitude. For my group, which included three young kids, we played hide-and-seek among the tall grasses in and around the dunes.

This was an easy, beautiful trail that ends up on a gorgeous beach. It's dog friendly, however, I wouldn't recommend schlepping a lot of stuff if you are planning a day at the beach.
