This is the first paved pullout along the road after you go through the entrance station.  This is a very scenic area of the park, especially in Spring when the flowers are blooming.  Great views of the valley below.  Neat rocks in the area.

Wonderful area of the park. Lived here for many years and today is my first time hiking this less traveled trail.

I was just looking to get some extra miles in and thought it would be simple. I had to turn around before the loop as I couldn't actually find the trail. Everything looked like a good place to walk so it was easy to get off course. No GPS signal.
