Very nice rolling farmland hills. Some shade trees and little bridges along the way. Much of it even has a bit of pavement or blocking. Well marked. Ample parking at trailhead.

It’s a great “starter” hike for newbies or those out of shape, such as me. Lots of places to stop and take pictures. Shade shows up right on time. Beautiful stream at the half way point. Very clean, well kept trails.

Love this trail! But beware of all the poison oak. A lot was growing in the walk way.

This might be my favorite hike with my 7 years old. Rangers are so friendly and I was so impressed wit hall the single due to Cornona Virus. They planted tons of Oak trees at the begging of the trail. Grass was tall green and the wild flowers were bursting with colors. We crossed many bridges that was a treat in nature. Not steep at all with rolling meadows and beautiful ranch like views.

This trail is definitely Open. The parking area is under construction, you can go left up the hill or around the Orange fencing. Beautiful. There are portions of shade but careful of the grasses, they are getting tall. There is a beautiful creek running right now. Not sure if it keeps running through summer. I am definitely doing this hike again but I might take the longer trail next time.
