Spent 4 days going 40 miles from Toulumne meadows to Yosemite Valley with stops at clouds rest and half dome. Trail had a lot of snow for the first half. Trail was hard to follow at some points. We managed without spikes, but it would have been nice. Beautiful hike. Stream crossings were all pretty easy. It was definitely hard. Lots of elevation gain and loss. So worth it.
