Long walk on a wide dirt path near houses to get to the actual trails and trees but pretty once there. Short hike. Good for dogs

From where the directions take you to park, it’s a long, uphill walk on cement past apartments and condos to the actual lake where the trail begins. The trail itself once you get to the lake is pretty and our dog loved it. However, the walk to the trail is as long as the trail itself. All in all, good time but won’t be back.

Trail not very well marked. Easy to get confused.

We hiked this trail on Sunday, 9/17/17 with our teen sons and our dog. It's ideal for kids who find hiking "boring" as well as easy. It makes for an easy family outing and picnic.
