Great hike with wonderful views! Definitely a butt blaster going up the mountain trail.
This is an awesome hike that now connects to our newest gem, No. Sonoma Mountion region park.
Both are a must do..
Hiked the Lake trail and Mountain trail to the Sonoma Ridge Tr for a total of 10.9 miles round trip. Moderate ascent with a nice view at the top. Watchout for poison oak.
Tough hike, not too bad up to the lake, then it gets a little gnarly. Make sure to bring your own water and a snack. Late August - keep your eyes out for ripe blackberries EVERYWHERE!
Positively beautiful hike. Make sure to bring your own water. Beware of mountain lions, snakes, and ticks (the usual).
Went hiking with my husband and two small kids. Very pretty hike, the lake was a little depressing since there was no lake. Check out my hike in more detail at chasquimom.blogspot.com. Look under Bay Area Hiking
