This is fun trail, there are many different loops you can take to incorporate this trail into. there are hundreds of strange piles of wood stacked up on their ends kinda looking like a teepee? And a camera on a antenna tower in the middle of nowhere turning back and forth?

We hike this trail as a part of a loop. We started at the parking lot on Mt Vision Road. We followed the Inverness Ridge, turned right onto Bucklin, then turned left onto Muddy Hollow Road, Estero and down to the Limantour Spit. We returned on the Bayview, Drakes View and the Inverness Ridge. Total distance 14 miles with elevation gain of 1,864 ft. Moving time was about 5 hours with average speed of 2.9 mph. Going down was easy but going back was challenging. Overall it was a fun hike with great views.

Nice quick hike, enough elevation change to keep interesting but not super taxing. It looks like you can make it a loop which I will do when I come back. Lovely views, popular with bikes.

Well maintained trail with views of Marshall along the trail, mouth of Drakes Bay and the ocean at the end. Go off the trail to the south at the end to see the best view, with a bench and picnic table.
