Inland Rail Trail is a 11.1 mile out and back trail located near San Marcos, California and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for trail running and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Next to very busy road and very ugly industrial buildings. Must cross several intersections along route. There’s a lot better places to ride your bike in San Diego. Although I appreciate the city putting in this bike path I don’t recommend.

It's an interesting rail trail, great to take the kid chariot on if you don't want to bike on the streets. Close to our house, so we love it, and you can get a great workout.
