Nice for a quick walk. Not very challenging.

This trail should be rated EASY, not moderate! It was pretty flat, with a few stretches of sand. Even so, we enjoyed it and it was worth it to visit the grove of palms at the end. It was a bit tricky to find the trailhead, turns out it’s a very short walk north of the roadside parking area.

Great short easy hike for families and kids with lots of opportunity to explore the desert flora and fauna. We saw a jack rabbit, quail and lots of reptiles. We took our 3 yr old mid day in late winter and it was perfect. There isn’t much shade and would be very hot as the weather gets warmer.
