Nice little history trail. Water quick if you go left. Right is a mild uphill history lesson. A lot of poison oak. Wide well maintained trail. Wide enough to not sweat the p.oak. Quick fun one. Kids no problem.

Very nice trail. I had to Ford the river carrying the dog so that was exciting!

This was a perfect short loop. I went around noon and it was shady most of the way and mostly pretty flat. You will see the sign for it (and some other harder trails) near the ranger station. The last cross over the creek is over some rocks but if you get wet you're almost back to the parking lot anyway!

I started this hike too late in the day and was only able to go as far as the springs as it was getting dark. The spring was still flowing even in this drought stricken year. From the spring there is a great view up to the crags. The hike is straight up with a thousand foot elevation gain in just under 2 miles. A good work out. This trail crosses the Pacific Crest Trail early on.
