One of the beaches at Huntington, CA. Open all year to everybody. This is one of the most famous beach for rollerblading and bicycle riding, goes to 24 miles all the way to Newport Beach.
There's parking at the beach and along the road.
Once you're at Huntington, just head towards the ocean.
This is an absulutely beautiful section of the bike/pedestrian path paralleling the ocean the entire way. You'll see runners, joggers, cyclers, skateboarders, dog walkers, surfers, hikers, RV/campers, etc... Threre are restrooms throughout the entire path and restaurants and touristy shops in certain sectins. This place has it all!
The skyline. People around enjoying diverse activities. The view on Bolsa Chica of the back waters.
The Beach is great easy slow ride from Huntington Beach to Seal Beach. Also plenty of places to stop for lunch or rest.
Its a nice long trail where u can ride with the wind and the sea breeze. I suggest u go early morning when theres not to much ppl . But there will always be ppl so if u wanna speed u cant out here . But if u wanna relax and cruise this is the place to come too.
No stops, easy to maneuver around pedestrians. Places to stop for lunch or beverages, and bathrooms! Good for dogs too. Great photo ops!
Nice trail to cycle! We parked for free at the corner of PCH Hwy & Warner St behind the Jack in the Box. There is a free parking lot for beach goers. We started the flat trail on our bikes and road through Bolsa Chica passing through Huntington beach cycling passed the crowded pier, continuing till Huntington beach ended. It's right before heading over to New Port Beach and you'll notice is where you make a right onto the Jeddy and follow the fence till it ends. It is there where there's a bench and fence where you can park your bike, take a break and enjoy the beautiful ocean views before heading back. It's a fun bike ride up until you get back into crowds of people near the Huntington Beach pier where you have to be really cautious of people not paying attention where thier walking. My favorite part is passing through the long stretch through the dog beach! I prefer to ride the upper trail on the way back but just be cautious of all the chipmunks and squirrels that live in this area and run right across you! Overall, you have to give it ride and try it for yourself! It's absolutely gorgeous and a funtastic ride!:)
Lots of people even with COVID-19. It’s such a beautiful and enjoyable ride. Too bad I got a flat and couldn’t finish.
