This is a great incline trail. Can be a little tricky to follow the trail. Look for faint red arrows on the rocks... I went from the start of the trail to the end of Hummingbird, which ends at Rocky Peak trail. Side trails to your right are more gradual and end back on the main trail.

I would not rate this trail as difficult. It is more moderate in my opinion. Very fun! Spectacular views at the top. Once I got to the end of the trail according to AllTrails, I kept going up. Some people may need poles on the way down but if you’re wearing good hiking shoes or shoes with a grip you’ll be fine. If you’re sticking to the app, you’re really not doing any “climbing.” It’s all just incline.

Tough trail! Lots of little area to go off and find a nice Rocky Vista!

This trail is awesome for people who have been hiking for a while, pretty heavy incline and alot of spots to go off trails and higher up but can get stuck in places where you will need to channel some anger and bushwack it creating your own trail. Where clothes that you don’t care about if you are actually going for the hike. I have lived in simi for 20 years now and see too many people not prepared for it. There is snakes so I always bring a big knife in a strap on my side and everyone understands around.....But these are good facts to know about this hike - Its a common hike where high schoolers go to the nets which is a cave with bungee nets to hang in and chill out, to get to the nets the quickest way follow the trail head to the left as it shows on AllTrails. Not a good hike if you plan to stay clean.

The views are amazing from every turn. It’s a technical and rocky trail. Pay attention to the arrows on the rock ands you’ll make it through the one section just fine. The view from the top was well worth the climb.

This is my go to trail, it can be difficult, but if you pace yourself properly it is moderate. I was able to reach the top in about 10 minutes, really pushing it, by the top I mean the top of the steep large flat rock. Although I have gone off trail to the very top of the mountain. There’s a decent amount of wildlife. At night there are frogs sometimes that can be heard, and usually some bunnies and birds and hawks. Overall good trail.
