Went on this gorgeous hike at sunset. The views were beautiful. However, on the hike up, we came across some locals and asked if we were heading the right way to the hot springs. To which they chuckled and told us “I’m laughing because they don’t really exist anymore.” He gave us directions and we saw literally a completely dry circle surrounded by rocks. Even in November. Beautiful hike. But no hot springs. The city seems to be taking water from the spring now :/

Good trail, if you go to the right first it feels more moderate than easy. The hot springs are neat but more like puddles than actually baths. The views from the top are pretty and there are a couple neat bouldering spots! The hike ended up being more like 4.7 miles according to my apple watch!

very nice trail alot of shaded areas, incline here and there very family friendly hike, cold spring canyon trail leads to hot springs canyon trail. we found about 3 hot springs, and a few small waterfalls with a few lil water holes. Be careful cause there is Poison oak throughout the trail. The entire trail was very beautiful many flowers bloomed and a lot of greenery

Awesome hike great views and trails. The history of the place of fun too. Couldn't find actual hot springs that you can go in but there was a few springs that were shooting out hot water and sulfur smell. Overall I think it's a great place to explore because of all the different routes and trails you can connect to.

Very nice hike. Surprising lush and wet for the 1st half (hiked counter-clockwise). Followed trail signs, but definitely didn't do hike shown on the map. Trail doesn't really deviate away from the creek once on it, so I'm not sure what that westward loop portion of the trail is. Trail is not marked well in that innumerable other unmarked trails cross it and can be a bit confusing where to go at some junctures. The water in the creek at the head waters really is hot and very sulfur laden.
