Very easy hike to the hot springs though if you take a dog there isn’t much room for them to lay down once you’re there. WARNING: It is a packed hike, if you leave early you’ll be sure to have a spot but if you come around in the afternoon good luck.

Takes about 30min to 1hr depending if you run all the way or walk up and take breaks. Very rocky/slippery so hiking shoes are highly recommended or feet will get battered.Bring LOTS of water and extra clothes.Hot springs pools at the end are well worth it tho. Just a heads up, people get naked up there

Awesome trail, and not that many people on a Saturday afternoon. Bring bug spray, further up there’s lots of bugs.

Crowded on weekends.... trail well maintained. It’s a nice quick hike up the mountains that doesn’t take all day!

We passed about fifteen people on the trail and there were fifteen at the hot springs when we arrived. Trail was pretty clean and parking was a little busy but we got a spot. I imagine this is HELL at peak times (like the weekend) and people were leaving their trash in overflowing bins. Great for early morning weekday hike but avoid for weekend. Take your trash with you please.

loved it. the water was super hot at the top but going down it gets cooler! there’s some confusion on the trial basically when you get to the white sign that says no vandalism you’re going to turn left and go up the trail!!

I went yesterday, and it was great. There was too many people going to the hot springs on our way back. I’m sure this will be closed just like punch bowls due to overcrowding.

Great trail and the hot springs are amazing. Some of the best views I have ever seen at the top of the trail. Be careful as some areas have very loose rocks.

There’s a point where you get close to the top and there’s a beehive in the ground. Thousands of bees are there. Watch out for that!

Trail is not very clear and a little confusing to get to the actual springs. Very uphill on the way there. A few people thought that it would be necessary to get naked in front of a bunch of children. Make sure to keep that in mind when thinking about hiking here. If there weren’t naked people then I would’ve given 5 stars.

Very easy kid friendly trail. Parking is limited but you can park down the street as well. Hot springs are really hot so be cautious. Took this trail clockwise and there was a nice little incline after you pass the hot springs , rather short though approx. 1/4 mile or so. Beautiful view of montecito/SB once you get to the top. Upon descending you come across a sign the says private property but it’s the only way down to complete the loop. It lead right back to main trail . Don’t go off course!

This was a tough hike. Uphill all the way with some minor rock climbing. The hot springs were nice. The water felt great!!! Great workout! Easy going back down. All down hill. Parking is very limited.

Seriously beautiful view at the top. One tip I have is that when you reached what almost feels like the end, you have to go up the hill on the left and then incredible views plus hot springs you can dip your feet in or sit in. This was pretty rigorous on the way up. Worth it for the view of the ocean and Santa Barbara

Was a great trail. We hiked up before 7 and had the springs primarily to ourselves. On the way back down it was PACKED. Unfortunately it did feel a little man made and we definitely wound up on private property doing the loop but it was none the less a great experience. This trail seems like it’d be perfect for a solid trail runner . Worth the hike.

Great Trail! It’s definitely going uphill the whole way up . A bit rocky so wear comfortable shoes. At the end you come across the hot springs! A natural hot tub out in nature. Don’t be scared because it smells , it’s just the sulphate which is great for your bones! This natural spa is mineral-rich and very unique. So take extra clothes to go in! Also I recommend to go on a cool day!
