The beginning of the trail is not so easy for kids.

There was no parking at the trailhead so we ended up coming up from a different part of the trail and meeting up with the planned recording. Start early as it gets warm fast. Some shade but a lot of exposed areas. Rock scrambles as you get to each peak. Got crowded as it got later in day so start early. We didn’t make it all the way to Wisdom Tree due to time but next time.

Difficult hike, with good scenery. Some parts you needed to scramble, hiking poles recommended to help with balance. Trail got much more crowded as the day went on. The weather was nice in the morning, but I could see how this would be a very hot hike in the later months especially summer.

The first half of the hike is quite boring and you have to watch out for some horse poop on the trail. The second half was much funner and the wisdom tree at the end is totally worth all the ups and downs on the ridges!

It gets you to the sign but lots of asphalt roads, fire roads and a section that goes right through the DUMP!! The route definitely needs to be changed.

I think some of these reviews are only to the Wisdom Tree. After the tree you need to continue across the ridge to make behind the Hollywood sign. The ridge has a couple spots that if you can carry your dog, you need to help them up and down. Not recommended for dogs not used to hiking.

It was a short hike, but pretty steep with lots of rocks. I highly recommend wearing hiking shoes so you don’t slide easily. The views are great. There are no nearby restrooms. I would definitely do the trail again.

A nice cardio driven hike. Not too long, but still good for a nice workout.

this is a tough hike it's short but it's steep I don't recommend for beginners and coming back is even worse because the rocks have dust on them and even dogs were falling down but the view is nice

There is no parking at the trailhead marked here, so we parked at Mineral Wells picnic area and took North Trail up (passing Amir’s Garden) to connect with the mapped route. Great hike with fewer crowds.
