Hogsback is a great OHV trail. My stock Wrangler handled it like a champ. This trail is rocky, but not super steep. More of a gradual climb. It is a long trail, and about the time you think you are lost, you pop out to civilization. I didn’t encounter any other traffic on the trail. It has great scenery, Mountain View’s, and a trail that changes from rocky to ruts, to sandy spots. This is a great trail for beginners, there are a few spots that you do need to stop and decide what option is going to be the best for your vehicle and some spots that make you wonder if you’re actually on a trail. Some ruts can be a little deep. I only scraped bottom once on a rock that was taller than it looked. Overall, this is a fun trail, but it did take us over 3 hours to do the complete trail bypassing the DeHaven loop.

Great for cliff diving if you have the balls. Narrow landing must be executed perfectly.

Favorite local hike. I usually start where the pavement ends and hike up to the first cattle guard then turn around. about a five mile loop. Gorgeous views that change with the seasons. hesitant to give it a 5...I like that few are there.

Super easy trail that has some awesome scenery. Lots of rocks so expect a bumpy ride with some shallow water along the trail.
