What a gem of a hike. Pay the price of the first 1.88 ascent and enjoy that beautiful loop. The trail is so much fun. There’s a decent amount of coverage to hide from the sun. Couple technical spots but not too crazy. Bring water for sure. If you’re running this, def take salts and some calories. Unique views of Idylwild and Diamond Valley Lake. Cheers.
