Really nice and well-maintained trail. There are markers and benches throughout the trail. I'm not a regular hiker and I was able to do it. There is a small dirt parking lot at the trail head. You have to go down a short dirt road to get to it, but I have a small car and got there without any problem.

Pretty trail. I recommend going counterclockwise for nicer views as you walk. Easy trail. Views were nicer than I expected.

Was a good hike. Took me about an hour and a half with me taking a few stops to take in the views. Would do it again

Great little trail! We ended up taking the West Loop Trail from the campgrounds over to High View and made this a 3 mile hike, which was awesome. You could see for miles from the high points of this trail and the view was just beautiful! Definitely recommend for an easy hike.

Decent trail, think there are better ones inside the park that are the same length (Hidden Valley, and Cap trails)

Great hike with terrific view. We went counter clockwise, thus our descend was a bit more challenging. The views at the top were rewarding. There's a thin layer of haze covering the mountains view.

Definitely a nice trail. One side is pretty overgrown and a little hard to follow but still really nice. The view is amazing

Awesome trail with gorgeous views at sunset! We had a lot of ice and snow on the ground. Be careful!

Excellent, short hike with beautiful scenery. I did it in the rain today so I had the place to myself.

Like other trails in this corner of JTNP, this has a different feel from the more iconic, touristy parts of the Park . It's a very picturesque and relatively short walk in the Little San Bernardinos above Yucca Valley, with some mild elevation gain on well-maintained stone stairs, lots of stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and plenty of scenic rocks and joshua trees. Very pretty stuff, and easily accessible without paying the ususal park entrance fee. Particularly great after a big snow storm.

Short hike up to amazing panoramic views of the mountains and valley at the midpoint. Snowed a couple of days before which added to the beauty.

Loved this for a quiet early evening hike. Beautiful vegetation and rewarding views all along. Pair this with the short but steep South Peak trail across the parking lot for a great 2 mile hike!
