head south on Hwy 15, turn right on Clinton Keith Road, when you pass the Visitor Center, around a mile you'll see Hidden Valley Trail Head on the left.
Went early in the morning on a Saturday . Super super pretty. Not much shade and make sure you bring enough water and snacks. Beautiful wildflowers and greenery.
Hidden Valley Road is just that: a road. It is a large, wide dirt path that many different trails intersect or spawn from, and it pretty much cuts through the center of the plateau. It has no shade and can be baking hot in the summer months so he prepared! But if you are looking for a leisurely walk on the plateau then Hidden Valley Road is a good choice! It has some very beautiful views of the hills and ends by the adobes.
