Our route followed the washes into the canyon and required some difficult rock scrambling. Incredibly beautiful out there.
Somewhere between heaven and the Flintstones. Great views and rocks to scramble up. Lost the trail a couple times.
The first ~1 mile is on road and through campground. Everything else is really nice. Saw lots of lizards, rabbits, and a mom and baby coyote.
Got lost trying to find hidden valley trail. This saved track is through the campsite with some cool views
Also known as the Big Horn Dam, this is a beautiful easy trail... you have a good chance to see and photograph Desert Big Horn Sheep. It's a short hike and easy to squeeze in another hike on the same day. There was water in the damn when I we were there with a lot of birds and other wild life... spring offers spectacular desert flowers!
