This was a fun hike. A small portion was a bit steep and slippery (soft dirt), but my little dog and I made it just fine. There are big chunky sharp edged rocks on the way down from the tower that hurt my dog’s feet, so we didn’t do the whole trail. We turned around and went back the way we climbed up to the tower. Nice views. Some shade.

Hiked at 11am on a Sunday morning. Lots of poop with forks in the trail. Map takes you directly to the driveway-like entrance. Go over the concrete path and you will find a small metal gate behind the shrubbery. That’s where the path begins. From there, Its obvious path but took trial and error to know which way was the “right” way. We also found some poison oak near the main trail about halfway through - the majority of the trail is overgrown, tick-nation, so be mindful. Very quiet, no people when we went. Views were very nice once you get to the outlook points, few shady portions along the way, however, there definitely are long stretches in the sun. Some parts were quite steep so be careful. Not my favorite trail for scenery or location, but it certainly is nice for when you need a quick getaway close to home.

I would say it’s a moderate trail, the first part is up hill and then it levels out up top. Go in the morning before 11am or else it’s too hot! Took both dogs and the boyfriend and they did great!

Nice walk. Rarely difficult. The trail head is in a subdivision past a gate. There was a blown down no trespassing sign nearby but we assumed that was for the fields of cows. Good birdwatching and lots of baby cows. Long pants and decent shoes recommended. We didn't do the last 0.5 miles because we couldn't find it. We got very off the trail but just used GPS to find it again. There was no one else on the trail (saturday afternoon in january).

Nice views at some points? But very short, and full of thistle and fox tails.

It was a good workout. A bit hard to follow as the trail often disappears. Does not appear to be highly traveled, which is good in many ways. Many areas where the trail can become rocky or strewn with deep dried hoove prints from cows who frequent the area. Overall a fun hike.

Went after a weekend of rain so it was a bit muddy. Really easy hike otherwise, only challenge is navigating the cows if they block the path. Decent views for what it is and a couple of rocks to climb along they way to change up the pace. Fun decent exercise.

Hard to find the beginning of the trail. Lots of thistles. Great views. Would not do it again as very steep at parts and easy to fall.

Great light trafficked spot but lots of stickers so try and wear long pants! Def a workout but the views are worth it and Drake’s Point is a cool surprise with lots of rocks to climb on and see from.

Short and sweet. The cows along the way compliment the beautiful hike. The view from the top is amazing especially in a clear sunny day :)
