Nice network of trails. Hiked the outer loops today which was around 14 miles. In summer time, start early and bring plenty of water. There is enough shade to help, but it was still pretty hot. Went clockwise, and didn't see a person for the first 2-1/2 hours of the hike. Once I started approaching the falls it became a little more trafficked.

Well maintained trail with many different off shoots to explore. Parking lot was nearly full when I got there at 1:00, but once I got a few miles into the loop there were few walkers/hikers. Lots of good signs, would be hard to get lost. Bathroom was closed due to COVID-19 but the trails were still open.

Pretty today because it was green and raining. Not many people there, but I'm told its normally packed. Clean, clear marked trails with lots of map stations. I little too developed for me, but the falls were beautiful.

It’s a great area , if it’s hot some cool places to swim. Not all trails are well marked. Two big notes! Register online to park , and download a map or plan the route prior. There’s 20+ trails none of them longer than 3 miles so to reach the detailed 14 you need to plan the route fully. It was a bit of a mess but weather and trails were great. None of them were more than a moderate difficulty and even then it was on the lighter end ! Plenty of water available.

For mountain biking it’s a great change up from Folsom lake! I recommend poppy trail; however, little to now features except a drop here and there but it’s super fast. GREAT VEIWS!

beautiful trails, I'm an out of shape 50s woman and made it pretty good. Had to stop a few times on the uphill slope back. I took the short loop about 3.68 round trip

After the much need it rainstorms, no dust and with no puddles of water, the trails were too fast at times! I wish I knew the River Otter Lp onto The Dear Trail was closed for repairs...other than that my SOLO ride was awesome!!!!!

A rare gem. Everyone says do this one on weekdays which we did. Enough trails to hike all day if you feel inclined with plenty of grades.

The Loop is the outer most trails of Hidden Falls Trail and takes you right to one of the Falls viewing decks. The trail is comprised of many other trails to complete the loop. Hidden Falls Regional Park has maps and lots of parking. You must pre register for parking online with Placer County for weekends and Holidays. https://secure.rec1.com/CA/placer-ca/catalog The 14.9 mile hike was nice and cool in November with lots of green grass and critters running around. A great trail with lots of great views.
