Fairly easy, lots to see, some shade but mostly exposed. Plenty of parking on wood road entrance. Cemetery and mill were pretty cool. Very peaceful at the cemetery.

Hot, dry, but fun historical loop. My kids would hate the hills and heat

Nice trail, but it’s not 10 miles - from the parking lot to the cemetery and back is roughly 3.4 miles.

No restroom at the trailhead but across the way at the Mt. Umunhum parking area there is one.

Woods trail is a nice entrance to explore this part of Quicksilver without the steep walls you find off of New Almaden or Mockingbird entrance. The trail shown is NOT 10 miles as noted in the description. Another reviewer estimated 2.7, which is more realistic. You can expand this trail by doing a loop around Mine Hill and Castillero. Gorgeous views and the trails have been recently graded and cleaned as part of a park maintenance plan.

Decent ride but not after riding up Hicks then inclining again for a few miles. The drop to quicksilver was cool though.

Beautiful. It's a great trail to run. Part of it is blocked off on the weekend, just FYI. But even still, it's a nice distance.

Beautiful views, with open space and historical landmarks. Limited amount of shade, make sure to bring plenty of water for you and your pup. The track I recorded is to the mine and back, which is 2.7 miles.
