Hicks Canyon Trail is a 4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Irvine, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Okay, it's moderate? No, its easy for sure. This was the first "trail" that I every went mountain biking on. Up to the side of the gravel is a small ridge that is good to ride on. If you are a kid that wants to try out biking while not going too far from home, and also not venturing onto steep hills then this is the trail for you. For running though I do like this because it isn't a track and it is close to a 5k.

Great for those looking for a sand/dirt track that’s easy on the knees. Secluded and does not cross any major streets through the help of tunnels under bridges.

I wouldn’t consider this for a hike. If you want a nice walk it would be good as long as you’re okay with walking on a bike path between neighborhoods.
