There was construction on the trail. We had to ask the guy operating the backhoe to let us sneak by to the lookout over the river. Very dusty right now. Nice short hike right off the freeway for a pit stop!
Short and easy hike great for everyone
absolutely loved this short little hike to the falls! Took kids with me ages 4 to 14 and they all made the trek super easy. What a fun little adventure for the little ones who crawled in the cave and everything!
Very easy to get down to and back from. My eight year old was able to get under the waterfall and had a blast! Definitely worth a visit!
Beautiful hidden gem. Nice little stroll to the falls and great view point at the end. Not crowded at all when we were there.
Could be a beautiful and relaxing site if it weren’t swamped by rude, pushy tourists. There were about 100 people there early afternoon on the Sunday of the holiday. Overcrowded... might be better on a regular weekday when everyone is at work/school. Also, there was poison ivy everywhere so if you’re one of those rude, pushy people and you stepped in the wrong area, well you got your karma coming to you.

i crossed the water to checkout the other falls at mossbrae falls. the rocks are slippery but water only waist deep at most. followed the railroad tracks and went down right before the bridge. lots of people but it was AMAZING. highly recommend

Easy trail, nice falls.
Pretty busy and unfortunately after going to Middle Falls this one wasn’t quite as impressive. Definitely worth stopping with the family and checking out but if you want a similar hike with an incredible view/waterfall check out Middle Falls for sure!
Super short, easy hike to a pretty little waterfall. I recommend hiking to the lookout at the end of the trail, then down to the river and crossing to the other side and turning right to connect to the trail to Mossbrae Falls. Those are spectacular!
There is a little bit of rockiness on the trail down to hedge Creek. But it is a pretty easy hike down to the falls. The falls are beautiful and there is a pool at the bottom that people can get in to cool off. If you follow the trail around behind the falls and go to the river there is a lookout to look down over the river. Then there is a more difficult trail down to the river which involves Some rockiness and logs to climb over. But still very doable. Kids had fun picking Blackberries and skipping rocks.

Super easy to get to. Trail is very easy great for kids. Its a very short walk. Get off on Siskyou Avenue exit off I-5 , go to stop sign hang a left under the interstate. Just as you come out from underneath the interstate look to your right you’ll see a parking lot with the trashcan and on the left-hand side of the road you’ll see a sign that says hedge Creek Falls park your car on the right hand side in a little parking lot and walk across the street there you’ll see a gazebo and some signs in a picnic table with the drinking fountain from there hang a right down the trail to hedge Creek Falls

Way too many people, large families ambling along. Small waterfall splash zone chocked full.
Really short walk from the highway to a beautiful waterfall. Nice pool at the bottom for cooling off, too! Easy for kids.

Great short trail that my kids (12, 10, 8) loved. Easy scramble by falls. Not crowded on this random, cloudy Monday afternoon.

Short and easy trail with good views of the creek and river.
Very easy hike, really pretty Falls, not crowded :).
It was an amazing waterfall and an easy pit stop on the way to McCloud or other Mt. Shasta sites. There’s a scramble at the end that takes you to the river. I’d recommend it, because there was no one else there. Moderately difficult creek crossing via rocks is required to get the full view of the river. They threw a tire down to make it easier.
very pretty falls. very Clean area. great swimming hole!
very easy walk down a small hill to the falls. be sure to go in spring when the flow is heavy. place your handprint on the cave wall too. keep going and there is a Vista of the river with my.shasta.

Small walk to see this beautiful fall. Tips: do the slow motion video while standing behind the falls, it’s pretty cool!

Very easy but great scenery
Beautiful falls and easy walk to stretch your legs.
Very short hike, beautiful falls. And it's close by to Mossbrae Falls, which doesn't appear to be listed on All-Trails probably because it's considered trespassing to get to them but many people do it, as I have done it a couple of times.
