An easy out and back trail down to an isolated reef area known for its tidal pools.
Great trail and awesome view!
For beginner level this is a good challenging walk. beautiful views as we walk along the rocks and beach area.
Nice and easy walk down, lush vegetation in the creek. The kids greatly enjoyed watching all the sea creatures in the tide pools. We tried to climb up the path as suggested by the trail map, but the slope was too steep and the sand too deep, so we finally came back through the creek path
Absolutely gorgeous once you get out here. The trail gets narrow and is overgrown in some spots
It was an easy walk out to the water but the path is narrow in spots and overgrown. The southern side of the beach is full of washed up kelp (smells like rotten eggs) but we absolutely loved the tide pools towards the north side. Beautiful rock formations!
Great walk to the beach. Love the rocks. The kids loved the tide pool areas and running up and down the dunes.
Great hike with a nice view.
Absolutely stunning views.... would say it's more of a walk than a hike but would recommend 100%!!!!
There's also tide pools and those are pretty awesome as well!

Fun. Fairly easy with a great view at the beach. Definitely will go again.
Made the mistake of going left in the parking lot. The Hazard Reef Trail is to the right. Much easier and less treacherous compared to the Dune trail. Saw many tidepools in Hazard Cove. Beautiful at low tide. Bring pool walking shoes and a walking pole for safety

We enjoyed this trail. It's more of a walk than a hike, but great tide pools and beach at the end... The start is no clearly marked, but when you pull in, the start is on the right.
Hit a low tide and the tide pools are amazing! Also some beautiful forests (Sycamore I think) on the way there. The rock formations on the beach are the closest to Westin Beach in Carmel that I've seen and been accessible. Nice and easy with a good payoff at the end.
Nice little trail to the ocean. If your looking for a short trip for some non hiker enthusiast, this is it. Nice tide pools if you make it at low tide. Watch out for poison oak.
where is it?????????? I want to adventure...http://www.mattressland.co.uk/

Easy trail down to a gorgeous isolated reef. Be sure to go at low tide, the tidal pools are a delight
