Excellent trail that’s paved at the top with some beautiful views. When we went in the afternoon on 4/17/20 after a light downpour the previous night, the trail was a bit muddy but still enjoyable.

Great running / biking trail loop.

Great trail. Beautiful and wide open, ideal for 6 ft apart. Definitely a decently tough and steep trail at times when going clockwise.

Moderate hike, good views, lots of wild flowers and cows, windy. Muddy in some places. Great quick hike!

Parts of the trail were great, but other parts were pretty much impassable due to deep, thick mud. Trail is in disrelair, looks like mountain biking is popular in this one. Also, you’ll be sharing the trail with large cows!

Havey Canyon was a fun trail going up. Lots of trees to shade you. Not so open compared to other trails that take you up to San Pablo ridge with awesome views of the East Bay

SUPER muddy right now! Great views at the top.

The Mezue trail appears closed, the gates were chain-locked although I did sneak through the gap

Mostly hiking in pasture land. Nice that I could bring the pup.

This trail was magic! Coyotes were talking to each other which was echoing of the hills. The climbs were fun and mostly shaded. The breeze was perfectly warm.

Great 2 hour hike. Some shade at the beginning and end but pretty unprotected in the loop. Nice and moderate.

Beautiful views, dog friendly, some bikers along certain parts of the loop and cows scattered. Took us about 3 hours with a couple of water breaks since it’s somewhat hilly. Very dry and brown now.

Still has some muddy bits and well trampled by cows, two and four wheeled vehicles. To say “wildflowers” would be an exaggeration since the cattle have grazed this area pretty heavily—there are flowers but they’re mostly blackberries, chamomile. vetch, thistles etc.

Great trail with amazing vistas but super muddy. Probably best to wait until it dries up a bit.
