Definitely not what I would rate as any “easy hike”. Since it was also rated as kid friendly we brought our son along, and ended up having to carry him more than half way (not normal for him since we usually hike almost every other day). I would rate this moderate, and not kid/stroller friendly as posted. Majority of the hike is uphill until the last 1.5 mile or so.

There was a little herd blocking the trail. One, a little bull I think, was right in the middle of the bridge and wouldn’t move

Took a slightly different route. Will try suggesting a new trail again. Had the name of the trail I cut off on wrong last time

Great hike. Trails are a bit broken up in some areas but not too big a deal. Saw a bald eagle. Spectacular

Did not make the whole loop. The trail was blocked by a herd of cattle. Back tracked and went a different route. Saw a family of boar on the detour though so it was worth the shorter hike

Great scenery. Be prepared to come into close contact with cows. They seem friendly.

Mountain biking

Nice mellow trail for mountain biking but sometimes, the trails will be covered in cattle prints making it really bumpy and difficult to ride on

First time hiking with my bestie and it took us just under 2 hours with photo ops along the way and looking at the signs since it was a new hike. Nice scenery, quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed the singing birds, maybe 20 cows along the way but they were not interested in us at all. This has some hills and today was muddy in certain areas due to rain over the past week or so but we were able to walk over to the sides to avoid getting our shoes stuck in the mud. I would consider this a moderate hike due to the slight hills and would define an easy hike as one that is totally flat. We will definitely hike this trail again.

Beautiful, easy sloping trails. Horse back riders, bikers and hikers, all use these trails. Wild pigs, coyotes and mountain lions. Thousands of trails to explore.

Very sunny, little to no shade. Spotted a huge coyote, pretty cool but they won't bother you at all.

After a storm, we wanted to go out and get some fresh air in the sun. It was beautiful but expectedly muddy. Glad we had good hiking shoes. We share the trail with grazing cattle so lots of dripping. We will be a repeater.

We did Ed Wilson trail here. One of my favorite hikes to date. Only sucky part was the mud dried and was uneven. Could definitely twist an ankle! Deer, cows, and pigs! And great views!
