This was a nice easy hike/walk. When you start the loop if you go right, there is a water fountain to fill up on water. Goes by a nice little Sand Canyon and also has ocean views. Most of the Torrey Pines hikes feature similar features. This was very enjoyable and not challenging.

Beach access was closed but we slid down it anyway. Took the road up to the top and then down the beach to come back. Awesome trail.

The walk to the trail was harder then the trail itself. Also there wasn’t much shade at all but it’s not that problematic since the trail wasn’t that long.

easy trail.

This was a wonderful easy hike. We started along the beach and then hiked along the piney ridge stopping frequently for beautiful pictures of flowers, cliffs, and ocean. I recommend saving some money on parking by parking at the beach prior to the park entrance. Check the rides before going as it might cover the beach portion of the trail. Some of the smaller trail offshoots were closed.

Easy short hike in a loop with stunning views. There are benches to sit on facing the ocean, and plenty of various types of flowers and plants to see.

Beautiful view!!! Trail is easy and relaxing. Good for taking elderly family sightseeing. Still have to watch their step slightly of course

Gorgeous views! Best of both worlds with mountains and beach hiking. Take all the in between trails to make it an 8mi loop from parking lot. $10 to park weekdays. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, short trail that offers views of the grassy hills, the beach and the entrance bridge/parking lot side. Less crowded than the beach trail and you will encounter some joggers on the way. I especially enjoyed the first part of the slope as it is at the edge of the hills, heading up to the ocean view. Wild flowers on this trail, informative placards, water fountain and areas to sit as well. Great for all ages.

Good for running, very short

Very short, super easy loop but it contains the most information placards in the park about its founding and native flora.

It is a circular patch. Amazing views! Most of it is flat but there are some mild sloping portions which allow you to feel the cardio while running. I'd say it took about 20 mins-half hour to complete it and take in the views.

Less crowded than the others but you will still see people. Nice easy pretty flat trail loop. A few cool things to see, some signage explains types of plants and trees. There is one cactus that people have carved their initials into, don’t be that person please, terrible. Get out there, happy trails. -Verified Completed-

Easy, sadly all Torrey pine trees here appear to be dead. If you really want to see a Torrey pine forest, go to Santa Rosa Island.

A great hike for all ages! I took my 2, 4, and 11 year old kids and they they did great! They walked the whole time and didn’t get bored or too tired. The path is soft sand and is marked off so it’s extremely easy to navigate. Gorgeous views and benches along the path to sit enjoy them. I definitely recommend this hike if you have small children!
