Located next to Santa Margarita Lake. It costs $10.00 to get to the trailhead (this is the day fee for entering the park). It is one of many trails.

The hike has great views of the lake, especially at the Eagle’s View. Right before you get to the Eagle’s View, the trail opens up into a lovely meadow. Beforehand, the trail is shaded.

Hiked it as the sun was going down and was met with a beautiful view of the lake from Eagle Point view.

Nice hike, especially when there's water in the lake.

We hiked this in January and loved it. I thought it was a pretty easy trail and we seemed to be the only ones out there. It's $10 to get into where the trailhead is.
