Lovely hike with lots of birds . The meadow looked like the snows had cleared just a couple of weeks before and was lush and green , the trail there a little soggy. Beware the thorn bushes just before. It was tough going through them with shorts on as they'd overgrown the trail.

Great hike. We had no problem following the trail tho' as always having AllTrails opens helps. The trail follows a stream much of the way, and this time of year there was water in it. The manzanita was blooming; overall everything felt rich and alive. There is a climb to it, but it's not bad and you get some great views. Right before you reach the top there's a small stretch with thorny bush that reaches into the trail, but we had no problem getting through it. At the top there's a broad meadow that had lots of pockets of water and little streams under the brush. Lots of weird alien plants were growing in the marshy parts. Highly recommended.

Awesome trail, maybe 15 trees down, not too hard to get around. Bushes are overgrown at the top the last 1/4 miles.

About one week ago there was 2-3 feet of snow in this area. Southern California inland desert area has suddenly heated up however , and thus in 1 week, we're in the SoCal inland desert seasonal usual high temps. The local trees had a lot of snow/weight on them, and indeed, many fell down as a result (blow-down), and indeed there are a lot of downed trees, 2 of which I had some trouble with scrambling around. That being said, the trail was not very hard to follow (especially with an uploaded Alltrails track). Several small creeks to cross (not difficult). No bridges were out. We did a loop that included the BMX bike park. Nice hike for sure, weather was cool and perfect. There are some steep inclines/declines, but never on my butt. Not really slippery. The snow will not last more than a few days. The Parking area was open, with no restrictions listed. SoCal hikes are now being opened up, but do check online before going out unless you're knowledge about the area.

I love this trail ! First time I went, I got off course and never found the meadow, but the next time was successful ! The meadow is beautiful ! A bit of a climb in spots, but nothing difficult. Views of Snow Valley are nice. Park at the trailhead to avoid walking near 18 where traffic seems to fly by. Watch for rattlesnakes in warmer weather.

Great Trail. Steep in some areas but overall a pretty easy hike. Absolutely beautiful meadow at the end of this hike. About 3/4 of the way it branches off to two different trails and we ended up getting off trail but checked the map and headed back. Definitely would hike this again.

Nice hike with snow capped mountains. The meadow and the top of the trail even had a few patches of snow left. Total hike came to just under 4 miles.

Make sure to take the counter clockwise route since it is better labeled.

This hike was not too difficult. My wife and I are both in our sixties and found the level of activity just right. Beautiful meadow at the top of the loop. The trail itself was mostly sand and gravel so you were not constantly walking over rocks and uneven terrain.

This trail is across from the Snow Valley Ski Resort. The TH is "Little Green Valley" TH. Can go either direction on this loop. Little steep in a few places, but "not on your butt stuff". Our loop was not "rocky". Fair amount shade, and at decent altitude - i.e. can do this hike when it's a bit warm out other places. There are better 4 star hikes around (like in Big Bear, or Deep Creek in Lake Arrowhead) in the area, This is an easier hike than Keller Peak. This is an easy hike. All the trails are in decent shape, including "connector trails" not visible on Garmin Base Camp or all trails. About 15% of the loop is on a somewhat attractive double track road. Lots of view points. A lot of bike tracks in the "Bike Park", but we saw no hikers or bikers while we were there. It's not a problem walking through the parking lot of the ski resort to get back to your car. The alternative is to do a little bush-wacking near the end to get back to the start, or walk on the side of the road (the car go fast by here). There are better hikes nearby.

There is no place to park near the trail. You can maybe park at the ski resort down the street and cross the four lane highway but I decided to skip this trail and look for another trail with reasonable parking.

Nice trail. Wish the trail was marked a little better. Went off trail a few times but nothing too crazy. I’d go back.

This hike was way cooler in the 90's when the boyscout camp was still there. This is the original filming spot for Friday the 13th. Crystal lake was only a shallow lake with is a willow patch now.

This is a real gem of a trail. It is fairly short and easy but you are rewarded with views of the alpine pastures of Little Green Valley, which are truly beautiful.

I would definitely do it again, decently taxing uphill if you have a pretty good pack with weight in it. A couple of times it got a touch confusing because it appears to cross over a dirtbike path, so make sure you're paying attention, at one point it splits up on the left and down on the right, go up to the left.
