Cool spot. $10 cash only day use pass at Green Valley Picinic and Campground. The trail was really easy. Once you get to the falls, it’s pretty slippery on the wet granite if you want to go exploring beyond where the trail takes you. However, I recommend giving it a shot.... it’s really, really crowded in the main area right now and we went around 3pm on a weekday.

Pretty easy hike. Once you park at the spot where the falls is, in the campgrounds, it’s a short walk to the falls. If you want to actually hike a bit, we passed the falls and followed the trail further till we got tired and turned around. Pretty cool experience seeing the falls. Not super big but big enough. Also, we went on a Sunday evening and there were plenty of ppl.

These falls and swimming holes are unreal, straight out of a movie. Had lots of fun sliding down the rocks and playing in the COLD water.

Easy & relaxing walk. Best to go early to try to beat the heat and the crowds. If getting in the water, be careful! The rocks are super slippery! Definitely going back

Safe for people to walk alone. Parking is $10 cash because it’s also a camping ground. Bring cash because they’re machine for cards didn’t get service while I was out there. It was pretty crowded with families and kids so it was hard to enjoy quietly. This is not a scenic quite kind of hike. It’s perfect for families with younger kids to go camping. The waterfall was small although there was water when I went I did expect more from the pictures. It was a lovely time to get out though!

This isn’t really a hike but more of a nature walk… Very easy… 0.6 mile loop. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed! Kids jumping off rocks into the water, people sunbathing on the rocks…hot day and the campground was full so that I could attribute to the people ! Pretty area tho!! caution the rocks near the falls are very slippery!

Great easy hike. I am very out of shape and was able to hike with my 25lbs toddler in a hiking backpack. My 4 y/o really enjoyed the trail as well. It was 79 degrees and the water was freezing cold but it was still nice to wet your feet. Bring slip resistant shoes and a towel! The parking is very close to the water. Definitely coming back!

This is a short fun family friendly hike directly to a waterfall. It was really nice not being on top of each other and that everyone has their own personal space. It was easy to maintain social distancing.

Water is still flowing. Beautiful day today! Once you get to the area where everyone swims...walk upstream to the mini-falls...really nice. Enjoyed this one over Kitchen Creek Falls.

$10 cash or check; parking fee (exact amount) to park by the trailhead. Awesome hike for kids to explore since it’s short enough with lots of shade. Rocks are slippery in some areas. Good traction shoes recommended. Follow me on IG: lulu_and_nature

There is NO dogs allowed just in case you want to take them. We came from Escondido and had to go back because they weren’t allowing dogs.
