Such a beautiful easy trail! Well marked! Did with my 11 year old daughter and 2 12.5 year old pups!

Not much foot traffic on Monday morning apart from a handful of friendly faces. Beautiful in late February.

Perfect with kids and dog in tow. Not a busy trail and kids can run free on a nice wide trail. No shade once on the loop but still a nice little hike.

This aptly-named, well maintained and marked trail is probably good for mtn. bikers and trail runners but there is only a small amount that is anything but grass (for most of the year this mean brown scrub). If you take this and stay left you can catch the dam overlook and then hoop up with the oak trail which is much more interesting and has a bit more shade for most of the year.
