Great hike. Lake is real low and I took the lakebed back because the sun went down and I had no night vision on the tree-covered trail. Clear skies tonight provided plenty of stars to make it back.
Lots of mountain bikes. Probably not the best hike for littles, but our kids had fun exploring the lake at low levels
lots of joggers, lots of rocky places to explore on dried lake bed. the trail is well marked.. some steep inclines in parts
The rain was coming so the toddler and I went for a quick hike by the lake. It was so cold and windy we didn't finish the trail. But we had fun despite the cold.
It was fun! We walked along the water and on the rocks and then hit the trail on the way back!
Low lake levels allow you to appear like you can walk on water when you're really just strolling the beach :)
