Great exercise for a short hike. The up and down hills is a cardio workout! No shade at all, but there are some pretty views on top. Must be prettier to hike during sunset, it gets hot on summer months. We went at 7:10am and the sun is already hot!

As of June 22nd, the trail is open. Saw families and a few dogs out here. The starting point is in Grand Avenue Park, where we parked our car. Park closes at 10pm which was great since we got here after 6:30pm and had more than enough time to finish the trail. The actual trailhead is towards Pleasant Hill Dr, just keep your eye out for a small clearing.

Good walking trail. No really one to run on. But good scenic views. Many options to extend your hike to go further. A lot of up and down walking.

Nice trail to hike on a clear day. The trail goes through a tunnel under the street and it was a bit muddy due to recent rainfall. The rest of the trail was pretty easy to handle and there was only 1 other person on the trail that I crossed paths with.

I wish this trail would of connect or merge with another trail it was too short but next time I won’t be going by myself it’s too deserted.

I hiked this trail last month during the evening when it wasn't hot and it was great. The incline is moderate and the view was awesome! I'm always looking to catch a good sunset!

Pretty good hike! A little easier than the Sunset Trail since it's basically steady incline til you get to the highest hill in the middle and decline from then. No shade though so don't do it on a super hot day!

Great moderate hike. The giant uphill at the end is K.I.L.L.E.R. A 5 star hike for me would include prettier surroundings - this one is nice, it's just California's typical dry, brown, bare hills. But the fitness aspect and terrain for hiking is awesome on this trail.
