Spectacular trail first through the forest then out onto the upper rim (northwest) of the Stanislaus River.

This trail has it all: forest and views. Dodge Ridge Ski Area is nearby for downhill enthusiasts. You'll find a few snowboarders & xc skiers on the trail, but usually you'll have the area to yourself.
