An urban bike trail between the L. A. River in a cement bed and the 5 freeway. The river has a surprising amount of wildlife- ducks, herons, sandpipers... some homeless along the way but withdrawn. Very sparse of riders now. Nice ride before sunset. Hot in summer in middle of the day. A pleasant ride- not beautiful but a few moments of beauty along the river. After winter it needs a clean up. Well maintained bike way.

If you like horses then this is the trail for you! 3/4 of this trail is on a horse trail with deep sand next to bunches of stables. The rest is next to the river.
