Drive to the best view in all of Yosemite. This 270-degree view of the Valley, Half Dome, and 3 Falls will amaze you. Glacier Point is a popular stop for many new visitors to Yosemite National Park on their way down to Yosemite Valley. Although it's not much of a hike, the view at the end of the paved walkway will leave you breathless. You will see (left to right) both Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls, Yosemite Valley below, Clouds Rest, Half Dome standing proud, and even Vernal and Nevada Falls. What more could you ask for? Winter In Winter the road to Glacier Point is closed to cars, but strap on a pair of cross country skis or snowshoes and you should be good to go. If you want to stay overnight, reserve a spot in the Glacier Point Ski Hut where there are bunk beds (dormitory style), a wood fire, food, and good company.
Short trail. Beautiful views.
Paved trail of tourist. But it is Yosemite and beautiful. Walk down the four mile trail for more adventurous hiking
Breath taking views of glacier point
Great Walk and Awesome views. Definitely recommend.
Driving up to Glacier Point takes about an hour but it will be definitely worth it. Up there you can access the trail down to Four Mile trail. Also a great view of the Half Dome will not disappoint. Yosemite is heaven to all hikers.
What a beautiful place to visit and see with your kids and family.
Spectacular views from that trail. One of the best .
Crowded but spectacular view of the valley.
Lovely trail! I don't believe the incline is as much as this guide indicates though. Unforgettable views, but extremely crowded and full of the selfie stick crowd.
The view is well worth it
A long drive up, but the views were great!
5 stars for the view, if you want a fun hike, this isn't it, but one of the best views of the park hands down. Only negative is it is VERY crowded
