One of our favorite trails. Outbound is mostly continuously uphill at moderate grade and reverse on return. At the apex of the climb one is rewarded with panoramic views northward looking out at Monterey Bay. Encounters with deer are common, and maybe a bobcat sighting, if you're lucky. Part of the trail traverses pasture land, and the cows may be grazing.
