Don’t waste your time driving out here! Signs everywhere about private property and you can’t drive down the road to the supposed start of the trail due to gates.

Easy driving. Awesome location! 2wd could make it. My Tacoma stayed in 2wd.

Cool easy trail to do. 7miles in. It’s unique but it’s trashed. I wish people would clean after themselves. This trail takes you pass the shoulder but not much more you can go. You see a no trespassing sign a mile down.

Cool area to explore and hike around once you’re at the rock. Very bumpy getting out to the rock. Once you make it to the rock, you can take little off shoot trails and see some amazing views of the landscape. Be careful of side by sides and motos over blind crests. And clean up after yourself!

As others said cool little spot. Hard to imagine the size until your next to it. Not very busy and if you near worth the visit. Made this a stop after a Big Bear to Pioneertown trip and it was nice.

Cool spot to check out around JTNP. Can be crowded but there is tons of trails for 4x4 vehicles. nothing super challenging, the washes will be your best bet for some fun times. Try and pick up your trash when done.

Take any of the little offshoot trails immediately to the east of the rock & towards the dry lake/old landing strip area. They’re short & sweet & loop back, some with great views on top.

Easy trail...but unless you have a good suspension you will hit several times for the amount of dips

Easy way to the Rock just a bit bumping. Also hardier off trails available after the rock.

Softer sand however if your passing through you can make it just fine. Do not need 4wd at all. A lot of graffiti on the mountain side of the rocks, not on the trail side

Short little excursion, 4wd not needed. The road is bumpy in places. Neat little trip to check out if you are in the area.

Sucks. Tons of graffiti, campers. Road is dirty, bumpy. Difficult with 2WD. Not worth it, not even a hike.

This is one of my favorite desert spots. I've been out here at 3am in the morning waiting for the sun to rise doing some long exposure night photography. Just something about this place.
