Softer sand however if your passing through you can make it just fine. Do not need 4wd at all. A lot of graffiti on the mountain side of the rocks, not on the trail side

Short little excursion, 4wd not needed. The road is bumpy in places. Neat little trip to check out if you are in the area.

Sucks. Tons of graffiti, campers. Road is dirty, bumpy. Difficult with 2WD. Not worth it, not even a hike.

This is one of my favorite desert spots. I've been out here at 3am in the morning waiting for the sun to rise doing some long exposure night photography. Just something about this place.
