The parking area has a pit toilet and picnic tables. The trail is nice, and a jogging trail would probably work well. There were two large downed trees that are easy to hike around but might be difficult to get a jogging stroller around. If you need to park of the main street by the gate there is a decent place to park off the road. The hike is fairly shaded, but there are periods of solid sun exposure.
