NOTE: As of September 2020, hikers report that the trail is closed at multiple locations. Fantastic family friendly hike! This trail starts right behind the Nature Center and is very easy and peaceful. The first half is fairly flat but there is a slight incline towards the end of the trail. Easy incline for an adult but could seem a little steep if taking your toddler. You will be sharing the trail with horses and there are road apples everywhere so you may want to watch out on your footing. There are multiple chairs to take a break and just listen to the birds. Lots of birds and lots of bunnies as well.

Great trail decent amount of shade we lost the trail the first time it went into a neighborhood not realizing several parts walked along neighborhood streets. Construction still present trail closed right at the end you really can’t get through recommend for the time being cut over to the trail near the entrance when they are closets together or go out half way and go back the way you came.

I started the path close to 8am. There was hardly anyone on the path which I preferred and especially enjoyed. The incline at the end is a nice small uphill, and not too hard to get down hill. Super peaceful, easy hike. Parking is free and easy to get to.

Great hike for beginners. Gets steep and narrow at the end for 1/4 mile but the view at the end is worth it.

I went again to this trail because I went with some friends and I want to delite them with this trail. I saw some beautiful painted rocks and i am wondering who left them, and who made them. I hope one day in this section the autor of the rocks appeared, and i want to thank for the beautiful idea. It was so beautiful day, but I rested and eat where is the school tree and I saw a lot of trash. I wonder who can left a disgusting trash in a beautiful place.

Beautiful local nature trail, vibrant orange flowers can be found all throughout the trail path. Fellow hikers left cute, inspiring painted rocks with messages and words, my little one loved it! A stream runs along the path, no water currently but definitely will need to come back during the wet season!

Easy walk in the park, couple narrow areas. Took a one year old in a backpack and brought three year old on feet. He did the whole thing.

This an amazing trail very tranquil, easy parking, dog friendly, No rocky. I gave 5 stars because not people, nice views. When you finish the trail there is the canyon then if you go up there is more difficult for kids. The hill the left side is a beautiful view where is a bench. For me this was a beautiful trail. There are two entrances where are very near each by the nature center, also two parking areas. There is a small garden also close to the trail entrance. Dog friendly with leash, no rocky. It is easy trail except the small hill.

Beautiful and very lush trail. Be careful of horse poop but other than that it is wonderful. Towards the end there is a steep incline, apparently the trail ends right after the first incline but I recommend going up a little further (it’s steeper so not recommend for very young children) because there is a great view up!

Fairly easy, nice hike. Be sure to wear good hiking shoes, it‘s muddy. And lots of horse poop. But I was happy to find a hike near Long Beach with lots of trees!

Very short and easy trail. You could see it had been muddy but mostly dried up. A lot of horse dung on the trail though but we didnt run into any horses.

This trail is crazy overgrown and dusty. Bring your allergy pills. For some reason this hike has a lot of strange smells???? Not pleasant.
