Starts the same way as the hike to Lawson peak. Go past Lawson and watch for the cut off trail to Gaskill marked by cairns on the side of the trail. Take that use trail to the Gaskill summit. It is a bit overgrown and some rock scrambling and route finding may be required.

Pretty cool hike. Went off the beating path which could’ve taken us towards another trail. Great. Steep climb awesome views.

Service road up to two lightly used summit trails. Both include a bit of 3rd class scrambling, maybe 4th. Lots of chaparral, so pants and long sleeves might be a consideration. It is hot though, no shade. Great hike with views that are worth it.
