Not so much a hike as a scenic walk, it’s a great place to observe/learn about different ecosystems. Well maintained, and not too noisy (so long as you stay away from large groups/children).

Also a great place to study and/or do some homework

Free to park in the designated arboretum lot, everything else is considered CSUF parking, and is subject to their pricing.
