Fredalba Trail is a 3.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Running Springs, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This trail is completely overgrown and can't be hiked. I agree with the other reviewer who said it shouldn't be listed. There is no safe place to park and the trail trace that exists has trash all around. Don't go.
This isn't a hike. Shouldn't even be on All Trails. Has a path for maybe 500 ft. But impossible to go any further.
hard to find trailhead, the trail is not maintained, overgrown, fallen trees blocking path in several areas, barely a trail left. wouldn't recommend!
I did some forestry fire clearance work in this area about a year and a half ago and most of the trail was burned out along with the majority of the homes in the area. The last fire did a lot of damage unfortunately. I have recently seen a lot of green returning and life is making its way back to a lot of this area. On the outskirts there are still some nice single track hiking trails that follow along the creek closer to the roadside for a quick hike. Some more time and this place will return to its previous state.
