Part of loop with good views, some trails are overgrown. Checked ticks but I did not find any.

Great trails! Ended up on the Canyon Loop trail and had the view of a lifetime!

If you are taking your dog, you cant go the whole route. Starting at goat road it is protected watershed and you need a permit.

The best of Fernandez Ranch would be windmill trail to Franklin canyon. Take a left on goat road back to windmill trail and then on to whipsnake trail back to the trailhead.

Nice private trail. We were the only ones on the trail today. Maybe kind of an unknown trail. First mile is fire road, second mile is a cow trail, the second half is nice wooded single-track. We seen eight Red Tail Hawks today.
